In a move certain to fuel the debate over Obama's qualifications for the presidency, the group
"Americans for Freedom of Information" has released copies of President Obama's college transcripts from Occidental College ..
The transcript indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a
foreign student from Indonesia while an undergraduate at the school. The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California . The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. To qualify for this scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship.
This document provides the smoking gun that many of Obama's detractors have been seeking -
that he is NOT a natural-born citizen of the United States - necessary to be President of these United States . Along with the evidence that he was first born in Kenya. Here we see that there is no record of him ever applying for US citizenship...
Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation has released the results of their investigation of Obama's campaign spending. This study estimates that Obama has spent upwards of $950,000 in campaign funds in the past year with eleven law firms in 12 states for legal resources to block disclosure of any of his personal records.
Mr. Kreep indicated that the investigation is still on-going but that the final report will be provided to the U.S. attorney general, Eric Holder.
Mr. Holder has refused comment on this matter.

Avenged Sevenfold drummer found dead at age of 28

Extremely sad news broke late yesterday about James "The Rev" Sullivan--better known as the drummer for hard rockers Avenged Sevenfold--who was found dead in his Orange County home on Monday. He was 28.
Details are sparse at this moment, but authorities are reporting that Sullivan died of natural causes. An autopsy is already underway. Sullivan was one of the founding members of the OC metal act, who broke into the mainstream with their 2005 album City Of Evil.
The band had surprise pop hit with the song "Bat Country" (remember how crazy it was to see them hanging out on TRL?) and they followed that smash with a self-titled fourth album in 2007, their highest charting record to date.
Sullivan's band-mates have made a statement on their official profile, and we urge you to go there and leave your thoughts in this very difficult time.

DEVILDRIVER Interviewed In Berlin - Nov. 29, 2009

PitCam Production conducted an interview with Santa Barbara, California metallers DEVILDRIVER when the band played Columbia Club in Berlin, Germany as part of the Neckbreakers Ball Tour with BEHEMOTH, SCAR SYMMETRY and ARSIS.
DEVILDRIVER will embark on a five-week North American headlining tour in January. Direct support on the dates will come from New York extreme metal legends SUFFOCATION. Also appearing on the bill is GOATWHORE.
According to a new online post by DEVILDRIVER bassist Jon Miller, the California metallers have six songs "in the bag" for the group's forthcoming album, which they "are looking to record sooner than later." He added, "We want to go faster and heavier on this one to answer any question on a 'direction' that we may be undertaking."
DEVILDRIVER drummer John Boecklin elaborated further on the status of the songwriting sessions for the band's next CD. Writing on the group's official MySpace blog, Boecklin stated, "On our last record, I would say we stretched as far as we could outside of what we had done in the past, trying new and slower songs with vocal melody like 'It's In The Cards' or the rock like feel of songs like 'Back With A Vengeance' and 'Teach Me To Whisper'. For our latest effort, we feel like musically going for the throat, so to speak.
"Are we gonna make a death metal album? No! We always have a heavy emphasis on groove and hook. That will not change. We just feel we have a certain anger edge about us and the songs we are writing compared to our last one. It will not be rushed and if you are a fan, you will not be let down!!"
DEVILDRIVER's latest CD, "Pray For Villains", sold around 14,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 35 on The Billboard 200 chart

This kind of story is usually confined to overseas news organizations such as Al Jazeera or Russia Today. The fact that it is the lead story in today’s New York Times speaks volumes, as the United States finally starts to realize that its debt load is preposterous and is likely to signal the end of a century of global leadership:
The United States government is financing its more than trillion-dollar-a-year borrowing with i.o.u.’s on terms that seem too good to be true.
Treasury officials now face a trifecta of headaches: a mountain of new debt, a balloon of short-term borrowings that come due in the months ahead, and interest rates that are sure to climb back to normal as soon as the Federal Reserve decides that the emergency has passed.
Even as Treasury officials are racing to lock in today’s low rates by exchanging short-term borrowings for long-term bonds, the government faces a payment shock similar to those that sent legions of overstretched homeowners into default on their mortgages.
With the national debt now topping $12 trillion, the White House estimates that the government’s tab for servicing the debt will exceed $700 billion a year in 2019, up from $202 billion this year, even if annual budget deficits shrink drastically. Other forecasters say the figure could be much higher.
In concrete terms, an additional $500 billion a year in interest expense would total more than the combined federal budgets this year for education, energy, homeland security and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The potential for rapidly escalating interest payouts is just one of the wrenching challenges facing the United States after decades of living beyond its means…
